Government of Uttar Pradesh has introduced The Right to Education Act for Economical backward students. Under RTE act UP Government reserves 25 % seats in Private schools for economically weak students. UP RTE aims to ensure that all children get good quality education. Features of the UP RTE Education Scheme:
Free Education: The UP
RTE free education scheme gives free education to all economically weak students.
25% Reservation: Government
gives 25% reserved seats for eligible students in private schools of their
area.
UP RTE Free Education 2025 Eligibility Criteria
For the parents applying for UP RTE free admission make sure that their child must following these eligibility criteria to be eligible for UP RTE 2025
Age Limit: These are age limit for students
a. For primary: The child must be 3 to 5 years old as on 31.03.2025
b. For class 1st: The child must be 6 to 14 years old as on 31.05.2025
Income Criteria: Income of child’s parents should be less than 1 lakh per annum. Also, they should have income certificate issued by Government of Uttar Pradesh.
Residency: The resident area of child and school must be same. Parent’s must have to provide resident proof when applying for UP RTE 2025.

- Aadhar Card of Parent

How to Apply for UP RTE free education 2025?
Follow these steps to apply for UP RTE free education 2025 Application form-
Step 1. Visit the official website of UP RTE 2025 at rte25.upsdc.gov.in.
Step 2. Fill registration
form: Fill child’s basic details like; name, DOB, Parent’s name etc. and register
for UP RTE 2025
Step 3. Fill the
application form: Login to the portal and fill out application form. You have
to fill Child’s personal details, Address and Parent’s details and Preferred
school choice etc.
Step 4. Upload
documents: Upload child’s passport size photograph, Income Certificate, Residence
proof and Child’s caste certificate as per given format and size.
Step 4. Final Submit Application
Form: After verify filled submit the application form and take print out.
